Pre-Intermediate Dutch

Voor wie bedoeld?

Beginners 3 is de ideale cursus voor wie zelfstandig in alledaagse situaties kan optreden, maar meer wil kunnen doen, zeggen en begrijpen. Het maakt niet uit of je de taal nou beroepsmatig nodig hebt, voor je persoonlijke ontwikkeling of voor je inburgeringsexamen; met deze cursus kom je net een stapje verder.

Handy to know before booking this course...
Lessons are taught completely in Dutch!
You can already speak some Dutch, so our aim is to immerse you in the language even more! You will slowly build an understanding of everything you hear and read, and it will encourage you to use the language as much as possible outside of the classroom also.

If you need your teacher to explain something in your own language / in English, then you are very welcome to ask them - make sure you ask them in Dutch!

If you have successfully completed the Beginners 3 course, you can:

  • State how you do/don't like something,
  • Say that you are mistaken,
  • Ask or explain directions;
  • State commitments, be polite and friendly and make small talk.

Als je de cursus Beginners 3 met goed gevolg hebt afgerond, kan je:

  • Laten merken hoe (niet) leuk je iets vindt,
  • Zeggen dat je je vergist en de weg vragen of wijzen,
  • Dingen beloven, beleefd en vriendelijk zijn,
  • Praten over koetjes en kalfjes.

En daarna?

Als je de cursus met goed gevolg hebt afgerond, kan je door naar het volgende niveau, Beginners 4, dat opleidt tot niveau A2 van het Common European Framework of Reference.

Course books are compulsory for this course - please ensure you order in time. You can purchase the course book, De Opmaat (herziene editie!), here.

If you do not have your course book in time for the first lesson, don't worry, just inform us and we will lend you a copy for the first lesson.
